General:Three-phase filter circuit chokes are used in reactive power compensation systems. Together with the capacitors in the reactive power compensation system, they form a series resonant circuit, thereby achieving defined power system conditions.Three-phase filter circuit chokes with power ratings matched to the load ensure the specified reactive power compensation when connected in series with capacitors of the specified capacitance.Three-phase filter circuit chokes that are not power-matched are rated based on the capacitors used and result in varying reactive power compensation values.With a commonly selected inductance of 7%, the series resonant circuit formed by the filter circuit inductor and compensation capacitors results in a resonance frequency of 189 Hz.Configuration:Open, freestanding design, stationary, for equipment installation and mounting in dry rooms. Connection up to 12.5 kVAr to creepage-current-proof transformer terminals with screw and flat-plug connections: 2.8 x 0.8 mm up to 5 A, 6.3 x 0.8 mm up to 20 A. According to DIN 46249, the 2.8 x 0.8 mm flat plug connection may only be loaded up to 5 A, and the 6.3 x 0.8 mm connection up to 20 A. For capacities from 12.5 kVAr to 25 kVAr, universal terminal blocks with screw connections are used; for capacities of 30 kVAr and above, crimped cable lugs are used.
